By using DeviantArt Companion ("the App"), you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Description

DeviantArt Companion is an independent, third-party companion application for browsing content available through the DeviantArt API. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with DeviantArt Inc. or Wix.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. DeviantArt hosts content with varying maturity ratings. You are responsible for configuring your content preferences accordingly.

3. Account & Authentication

The App uses DeviantArt's official OAuth2 authentication to connect to your DeviantArt account. Your DeviantArt credentials are handled directly by DeviantArt and are never stored by the App.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

DeviantArt Companion offers optional Premium subscriptions (Weekly and Yearly) through the Apple App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Free trial periods, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Content

All artwork and content is sourced from DeviantArt via the official API and created by the DeviantArt community. We do not create, modify, or claim ownership of any content. Rights remain with respective artists and creators.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit artwork accessed through the App
Circumvent subscription requirements
Reverse engineer the App
Violate DeviantArt's Terms of Service

7. Service Availability

The App depends on the DeviantArt API's availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update or discontinue features at any time.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for content sourced from DeviantArt.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
